The Black Swan at Oldstead

A handsome, double bow-fronted 16th century building set amid the beautiful North York Moors. The Black Swan provides a tranquil setting for some superior grub. Inside there’s everything you’d want from a rural English pub; natural flagstone floors, wood beamed ceilings, open stone fire places and candlelit chandeliers. Local and seasonal are the watchwords here exemplified on the Pub Food menu by home-made Sausage and Mash and a great Ploughman's. There's more refined dishes in the restaurant such as a starter of Game Terrine with Game Pate,Cumberland Jelly and Date & Walnut Bread or a sophisticated and original main course of Duo of Lamb. Pot Roast Shoulder & Roast Saddle with Carrot Choucroute and Pommes Anna.
