For our wedding anniversary we dined at The Bildeston Crown. It was excellent. We lived mostly in London or Italy and were unimpressed by most of the places we had tried in Suffolk. (My wife is Italian and highly critical). So it is nice to find an exception. Excellent cooking, some surprising tastes, my wife discovered the joys of duck eggs, I discovered a spicy salad (which I will try again). The wine was good (Barbera) and well-served. Downside: not cheap but we didn't care. it was well worth it. PeterF
