For his most recent city centre venture, celebrity chef Paul Heathcote has turned his considerable culinary talents to all things Spanish. The large, contemporary and informal dining room features an open kitchen where chefs prepare a wide range of region and contemporary Spanish dishes. Tapas might feature morcilla (Spanish blood sausage) with fried ducks egg and Ximinez vinegar and clams with sherry and ham, while more substantial al a carte choices include braised rabbit with Rioja, prunes, sage, pine nuts and bomba rice and a selection of rice dishes inclduing paella. The almost exclusively Spanish wine list showcases some of the country’s best producers such as Benjamin Romeo.
