Hotel du Vin & Bistro

Set in the midst of the cobbled, historic splendour of this iconic British city is the Cambridge Hotel du Vin’s Bistro du Vin has an op where you can enjoy the modern French/European menu while watching the chefs at work in the open kitchen. Head chef Jonathan Dean creates his menu using premium Cambridgeshire producers such as the River Farm Smokery, Colchester Oyster Fisheries and wheat and flour from the family-run Glebe Farm in his food, which includes such treats as scallops, belly pork and apple puree and wild venison haunch, cranberries and bitter chocolate. The hotel and bistro is housed in a converted university building, so that you can soak up some of the city’s academic splendour while studying its epicurean delights.
