The Greene Oak

This country dining pub is located in the idyllic village of Oakley Green, close to the culinary hot spot of Bray. Owner Henry Cripps has managed a string of successful London gastropubs and brings his style and expertise to bear here. A contemporary yet rustic mood is created by slate floors, cream and green painted walls and beautifully upholstered church-aisle style chairs. A bi-weekly changing, seasonal menu might begin with a simple but delicious plate of asparagus with grilled haloumi cheese and aged balsamic vinegar and continue with fillet of seabass with a leek and pancetta carbonara or good old sausages with bubble & squeak and battered onion rings. Dine beneath flower filled trellising in the landscaped garden.
