Castle Terrace Restaurant opened its doors in July 2010 and since then has taken Scotland’s fine dining scene by storm, being awarded a coveted Michelin star after just 18 months. This was followed by a string of other accolades including Restaurant of the Year and Most Innovative Restaurant of the Year at the 2012 Scottish Restaurant Awards, Most Stylish Scottish Restaurant at the Scottish Style Awards, the prestigious Newcomer Award at the Catey Awards and Newcomer of the Year at the 2011 CIS Awards. Dominic Jack’s menu offers the very best in modern British cuisine whilst using traditional French cooking techniques garnered in some of the world’s top Michelin star kitchens including l’Arpege, Hotel Vernet-restaurant Les Elysees and Taillevent. Chef Jack is passionate about using the freshest seasonal ingredients from Scotland’s outstanding natural larder, mirroring the philosophy From Nature to Plate of sister restaurant The Kitchin
Castle Terrace is fresh, modern, stylish and bright. The atmosphere and approach are both welcoming and relaxed. The restaurant hosts up to 50 guests and also offers private dining room which hosts up to 12 people.
