Brasserie Blanc
For most people, dinner at Raymond Blanc's temple of fine dining Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons is reserved for special occasions only. But a meal at his casual French brasserie is an altogether more affordable option. This elegant dining room in the centre of town is perfect for a business lunch or a restorative bite after shopping. When the weather allows, grab a seat on the popular al fresco terrace. Francophiles will appreciate Burgundian snails in garlic herb butter; roquefort, pear and walnut soufflé and Maman Blanc’s soft meringue, chestnut puree and cream while the Glen Fyne Estate sirloin steak and big chips will please dedicated carnivores. The bargain two course set lunch includes a glass of wine.
