The Greenhouse
Tucked away in a charming Mayfair mews, The Greenhouse is one of the most delightful places in London to dine. The elegant, recently refurbished dining room features displays of tree branches enclosed behind plate glass, echoing the restaurant's urban garden setting. But the real works of art emanate from Antonin Bonnet's kitchen. The finest produce including Limousin veal sweetbread with wild garlic caramel, glazed leek and veal jus is expertly cooked and presented with élan. Asian influences are worn lightly in dishes such as slow cooked tuna loin, shiitake and smoked soy sauce. Poularde de Bresse, black trumpet mushrooms and parpadelle is a treat for two. Wine connoisseurs will appreciate the mammoth 2000 bin list.
