Roscoff Brasserie
Despite its name, celebrity chef Paul Rankin’s flagship restaurant is anything but a brasserie. Sumptuous semicircular banquettes, a restrained dove grey interior and tables set with linen and fine cutlery and stemware give the dining room a very grown up feel. The surroundings are perfectly in tune with the sophisticated menu that accents the chef’s classical French background rather than his more well known fusion tendencies. Begin with prawn ravioli with shellfish, soft herbs and a garlic butter followed by rump of venison with a roast garlic risotto, wild mushrooms, port and juniper. Desserts such as millefuille of fig and orange with a tangerine mousse are well worth finding room for.
