Winteringham Fields

Germain and Annie Schwab, the couple who first put the tiny hamlet of Winteringham on the culinary map nearly two decades ago, sold this 16th Century manor house in 2005. New owner Colin McGurran has continued the commitment to the highest standards and has obtained the the services of award winning chef Andrew Foster. Luxurious ingredients abound on the ambitious menu; roasted lobster is indulgently paired with sautéed foie gras and a lobster and morel mushroom reduction while turbot comes with truffle risotto, mouclade velouté, foie gras butter and purple potato galette. Polished, professional service comes courtesy of youthful but highly experienced restaurant manager Jade Wright and her team.
