Two distinct elegant rooms set aside for dining grace these old Edinburgh wine merchants’ auction room, one with high-ceilinged ornate plasterwork, the other now Whisky lounge with a zinc bar where you can sample some 1300 Malts by the glass.Scottish produce is flavoured by Mediterranean flavours à la carte menu offers five or six choices per course. The West Coast oysters; Aberdeen Angus carpaccio with sauce verte; hand dived sautéed scallops gloriously combined with broccoli puree.Aberdeen Angus fillet,Scottish Lamb,Roast Monkfish. Lemon tart meringuée or Cranberry and Walnut Tart to follow.
