The Mirabelle at the Grand Hotel

The white edifice of the Grand Hotel stands resplendent on Eastbourne’s seafront as a reminder of bygone days when it attracted notable people such as Winston Churchill as its guests. The formal Mirabelle restaurant is no less grand decorated in pastel pinks with the finest crystal and cutlery dressing each table. The menu is saved from stuffiness which some luxuriant hotels suffer from with appetisers such as Thai spiced chicken and coconut soup or mains of salmon fillet with fennel risotto, confit tomatoes and saffron sauce on offer.
