Steven Saunders in Newmarket

Steven Saunders is an all rounder. Known for his TV appearances on shows such as Ready Steady Cook, he writes about food and runs a food consultancy as well as being an award winning chef. Oh, and he also takes (saucy) photographs, some of which hang on the walls of his stylish high street restaurant. Saunders is a proponent of organic food and his menu reflects that. Small plates are presented for diners to share and might include frothy organic carrot soup with garlic chips or a tagine of braised vegetables with cous cous and chili dip. Seafood options include lobster with thermidor dressing while crisp belly of Old Spot pork with soba noodles, green chili and lemongrass juices might appear on the list of meat dishes.
