Fancy dinner cooked by Gucci’s former private chef? Then head to this intimate, modern dining room with clean lines and splashes of colour provided by contemporary art. The young, enthusiastic and talented team of chef Peter Knibb and his restaurant manager wife Antje have between them an impressive amount of Michelin starred experience so you know you’re in good hands. The thoughtfully constructed, reasonably priced menu of inventive dishes offers five or six choices at each stage. Start with a warm quail salad with pickled apples, walnuts and pan-fried quails egg followed by red mullet with almond and rosemary crust, saffron marinated vegetables and cauliflower puree. The excellent wine list is personally compiled by Antje.
