For six decades and three generations, the Fletcher-Brewer family has run this acclaimed country house hotel that’s situated in farmland with views across Cardigan Bay to Snowdownia. The simply decorated dining room features exposed stonework and stunning views through large picture windows. There’s plenty of variety on the globally influenced, daily changing menus. Start in France with langoustine bisque with confetti vegetables and crisp herbs or maybe Japan for sushi nori with ginger and wasabi dressing and follow with a more local main of chargrilled Welsh fillet beef with rosti potato parmesan crisp wafer, caramelised celeriac and basil cream. The Sunday luncheon buffet is popular with families.

Local Directions:	With the completion of the A55 Expressway, anyone coming from the direction of Chester should find it pretty easy. Chester to Abersoch should take about two hours. Basically, you come off the A55 after Bangor and carry on through Caernarfon and Pwllheli to Abersoch (A499).
