The comfortable, intimate dining room (refubished in 2007) provides the perfect setting for a romantic dinner for two or for simply luxuriating in (and marvelling at) the ace cooking. Dishes such as calf's sweetbreads, braised cockscombs, Moroccan spiced pork belly and tonka bean velouté may sound impossibly outre, but in Wignall's capable hands they are a true culinary delight. With all 220 bins on the excellent list available by the glass, you'll always find a wine to match the food's complex flavours.
