Overton Grange Hotel
Outside, Overton Grange has the look of a traditional manor house, but inside the plush dining room things are altogether more modern with painted mauve walls and leather seating. The cooking however is time-honoured sophisticated French thanks to Head Chef, Christophe Dechaux-Blanc. His classical yet imaginative menu offers chocolate raviolis of game with a girolle mushroom velouté; millefeuille of white asparagus; paupiette of wild sea bass and red mullet farce; a supreme of squab pigeon with Savoy cabbage choucroute or a French regional cassoulet of quail. A crisp “croustillant” of white chocolate with Griottine cherries or rhubarb cup with lemon Bavarois makes a sweet end to a fine meal.
