The diligent sourcing of the finest ingredients means that you might find razor clams in a chowder with crab tortellini; Cornish blue lobster matched with a caviar dressing or a braised escalope of brill served with wild mushrooms. Ballotine of foie gras with smoked duck and sweet wine jelly is a possibility as is loin of venison with a peppery port sauce or braised oxtail with lardons. | Local Directions: | If travelling from the south on the M40 leave at Junction 13. Turn left onto the B4100. Turn left and in about 1.5 miles turn right at the small crossroads (SP Harbury) B4087. Mallory Court is 500 yards up on the right hand side just over the crest of the hill. If travelling from the north on the M40 leave at Junction 14. Follow signs for Leamington Spa (A452) and at the second large island take the last exit (SP Bishops Tachbrook and Harbury). Follow the lane to the end until you have to stop at a crossroads. Carry straight over the crossroads (towards Harbury) and Mallory Court is 500 yards up on the right hand side just over the crest of the hill. |
