For example, Leagram’s soft Lancashire cheese is paired with wild duck breast and blueberries for a delicate and unusual starer, while The very best black pudding from Bury accompanies an earthy dish of scallops and cauliflower puree. Main courses might feature pan-fried cod with baby gem lettuce, peas, broad beans and Manchester smokehouse bacon, or simple grills including a kilo Cheshire Belgium Blue porterhouse steak, served for two people of course!
