You won’t find a 500-strong wine list here – or indeed any wine. But you can bring your own, along with a good appetite to enjoy this tiny restaurant close to the sea. The food is cooked in style by easy-going Nikki Billington. This Mediterranean traveller stripped out her Whitstable bedsit to create a haven for people like her who love simple Greek, Italian and Spanish food. Take a seat on the chunky chairs inside or out on the terrace and enjoy some food stripped back to its bare essentials such as with deep fried squid or chargrilled lamb with tzatziki and patatas bravas. Organic, locally-sourced produce only makes it into the on-view kitchen. Partner Paul Watson handles front of house duties with aplomb. Please note that no bookings are taken by email.
