Rob and Emma Green’s award-winning and eponymous restaurant is located close to the busy fishing harbour. Warm orange textiles, crisp white linen tablecloths and intimate dining booths provide a relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant, while polished dark wood tables, brown leather chairs and a blackboard menu reflect the bustling feeling of the bistro downstairs. Being predominantly a seafood restaurant - although fine meat and game are available - Rob sources his fish directly from the trawler skippers to ensure the finest and freshest of the catch is available on the menu, which is shared by both restaurants. Starters include bouillabaisse, or a grilled kipper fillet with scrambled eggs and toast, maybe followed by a large pan of moules marinieres, frites and garlic mayo or Green’s fish pie. An international wine list offers an extensive choice.
