Now coming up to its 20th year, Fischer’s Baslow Hall, located on the edge of the Chatsworth Estate, with its swagged curtains, antiques and fine glassware, offers local and regional ingredients served with panache. Derbyshire beef comes with wild mushroom ravioli, rabbit loin is partnered with a langoustine reduction and brill with clam risotto and parsnip puree. On the Taste of Britain menu, sample some of the freshest seasonal ingredients the British Isles has to offer combined with Head Chef Rupert Rowley’s renowned classical approach using modern techniques and European influences. Yorkshire Game, Scottish Hand Dived Scallops, Cornish Crab, Coastal Samphire, Thornbridge St. Petersburg Stout flavours one of our breads, Yorkshire Forced Rhubarb and Derbyshire Beef are to name a few.
