An award-winning conversion from 1920's Art Deco picture house in 1998 produced a unique and dramatic setting for a stylish restaurant that retains many original features and as well as it's original name. With sweeping staircases and views to wow from the mezzanine Circle Bar, The Daffodil now lends itself equally well to the intimacy of a special occasion, the hair loosening abandonment of a party, as well as wedding ceremonies and receptions. Our main menu has a little something for everyone using locally sourced ingredients and all cooked to Michelin standard. In addition, 'the Dailies' menu provides a range of fixed price options incorporating seasonal specials and is available every lunchtime and early evening. On Monday evenings you can also sample our chef's choice menu to to accompany our regular evening of live jazz. Spoil a loved one, dine with friends, meet with clients, or throw a party, but most of all, relax and take pleasure in enjoying the The Daffodil experience.

Review of The Daffodil

Posted on by Ian ToddType of travel: Family

One of the best things about The Daffodil is the restaurant itself. A very unusual Art Deco converted cinema the atmosphere is friendly but uncrowded. They serve very nice lunches as well as dinners. A little on the more pricey side, so we tend to go there as a couple for special occasions, but they are allergy aware and do some great gluten free food. Recommended.
