Modern art and polished wooden floors lend a contemporary edge, fitting for the lively brasserie of a boutique hotel in the city's trendy Calls area. The menu starts with the likes of mushroom and tarragon soup with an olive oil crouton then follows with dishes such as a classic duck confit served with Morteaux sausage, champ mash and Madeira sauce; pork rump on a baby onion risotto with crisp sage and a cider sauce. A 3 course set menu with dishes taken from the a la carte together with 2 glasses of wine is available all evening Mon-Fri for £23.95.
