With a brasserie, bar, deli, bakery, and cookery school, Bordeaux Quay forms Bristol's gastronomic epicentre. The spacious high-ceilinged first floor dining room overlooking the harbour is the crowning glory of what is probably Britain's most eco-friendly restaurant complex. But just because they're committed to organic produce and sustainability in all its forms doesn't mean that a meal here has to be anything other than delicious and fun. The raw ingredients may be local but the cooking looks further afield to main land Europe for its influences. The daily changing menu might feature anything from a classic French onion soup to an Italian style risotto of chanterelle mushrooms, spinach and young pecorino cheese.

| Local Directions: | Turn down Canons way off the A4 for Sat Nav please use BS1 5LL. FROM THE M32 - Keep in right hand lanes at junction 3 then continue forward sign posted City Centre. At traffic signals turn right onto Bond Street - A4044 sign posted City Centre. At St James Barton roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A38 sign posted City Centre. Keep in left hand lane through 3 sets of pedestrian lights then at 4th set of traffic signals stay in the middle lane and via right and continue onto the A4. Keep in left hand lane then continue forward signposted Avonmouth. Turn left at the second set of traffic lights. At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Canon's Way. Arrive at BS1 5LL, Millenium square car park Bristol. FROM THE M5 - Leave the M5 at junction 18, then join the M5 SPUR motorway signposted A4, A403, Bristol, Avonmouth, Docks. Branch left, then at Portway roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A4 signposted Bristol and Airport. Branch left, then merge onto the A4. Bear right and continue forward onto the A4. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A4. At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A4 signposted Avonmouth. Turn right onto Canon's Way. At roundabout take the 1st exit onto Canon's Way. Arrive at BS1 5LL, Bristol Millenium square car park Bristol. |
