Hertfordshire’s only Michelin-starred restaurant, Auberge du Lac, is set on the banks of the Broadwater Lake in 543 acres of ancient parkland on the Brocket Hall Estate in Welwyn, Hertfordshire. Originally a hunting lodge, this highly-acclaimed romantic restaurant is housed over four floors with a comfortable lounge, elegant dining room, four additional private dining rooms and a large lakeside terrace overlooking the Broadwater Lake and Brocket Hall itself - the magnificnet ancestral home of two former British prime ministers. Celebrated for its innovative cuisine prepared by the talented and inspired Executive Chef Phil Thompson, Auberge du Lac also boasts a separate wine cellar, consisting of 750 bins, where Sommelier’s Table - private wine and Champagne tastings - take place.
