The neutral interior and soft white chairs do little to prepare you for the range of flavours expertly mastered at this restaurant. The menu offers an eclectic mix of dishes with fish and seafood predominating that can take you from salmon and broccoli tart to crispy confit of duck with steamed pancakes and hoi-sin sauce, and that's just to begin with. The mains are equally adventurous with fish based offerings including sea bass with scallops and chorizo or lobster served in six different ways. Alternatively you could take a quick jaunt to the Caribbean for jerk chicken served with traditional rice and peas. The Caribbean theme could continue with a trio of desserts including caramelised bananas on sticky banana cake with coconut ice cream and toffee sauce.
