The Ceredigion Museum & Gallery opened in 1982, and is housed on the ground floor of the old Coliseum building. Described as `one of the most beautiful museum interiors in Britain“. The permanent displays include objects from the county of Ceredigion through the ages along with exhibitions on archaeology, seafaring, agriculture and furniture. The temporary exhibitions are mainly high quality art along with a Gallery of work by local artists.
