Grampian Transport Museum

The Grampian Transport Museum is one of North East Scotland's most popular museums. Described by visitors as a 'Hidden Gem' it has grown over the last 30 years from volunteer roots to an accredited, 4 star museum of national quality. The museum's displays, exhibitions & working exhibits trace the history of road travel & transport in the Grampian area & new for 2012 will be a special exhibition describing the history of the Alford Valley Railway. This is a living museum that probes the past, present & even future & is brought alive by an exciting calendar of events & activities, held during the summer in the specially developed museum grounds. Extra activities for children during the school holidays makes this museum not only an exciting and educational place to visit but a fun destination for the whole family! Opening Times:	Daily. 1 Apr to 30 Sep 10:00-17:00, 1-28 Oct 10:00-16:00
Admission:	Adult £9.00, Child Under 16 Free (2 per adult, each additional child £3.00), Concession £7.00.

Location:	25 miles west of Aberdeen, on the A944. Town centre, off free public car park.
Facilities:	Outdoor Play & Picnic Area, Visitor Information Centre, Disabled Facilities, The whole or parts of the site, including the road circuit & conference room, can be hired for events by companies, clubs and individuals, Full Disabled Access, , Gift Shop, Traveller's Rest Tea Room is open every weekend & daily 1 - 15 April and 30 June - 2 Sept, Free Parking, Free Parking
