Riverside Museum is the stunning new Clydeside home for Glasgow's transport and technology collection. Entry is FREE. Visitors can climb aboard some of the exhibits to get a real feel for vintage public transport by accessing four locomotive footplates, three trams, two subway cars, one train carriage and a bus. There is a recreated street from 1895 - 1930 where the shops, cafe and subways are accessible, plus two additional display areas depicting shops from the 1930s, right through to the 1980s. There are lots of interactives for visitor to find out more about objects, cafes with amazing views as well as The Tall Ship moored outside (charges apply). Come along for a great day out!
