The Robert Burns Centre is situated in the town´s 18th century watermill on the West Bank of the River Nith. It tells the story of Robert Burns´ last years spent in the bustling streets and lively atmosphere of Dumfries in the late 18th century. On display are many original manuscripts, documents and personal belongings of the poet. Also on display is a scale model of Dumfries in the 1790s.

Opening Times:	Apr to Sep Mon to Sat 10:00-20:00, Sun 14:00-17:00. Oct to Mar Tue to Sat 10:00-13:00 & 14:00-17:00.
Admission:	Free.
Location:	West Bank of River Nith, opposite Whitesands.
Facilities:	Full Disabled Access, Parking Availability, Restaurant, Shop
