Wakefield Art Gallery

Wakefield Art Gallery is located in an early Victorian townhouse complete with a secluded sculpture garden. An important collection of 20th century art by major artists with fine examples of work by international sculptors Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth, who were both born locally. There is also an important collection of 19th and 20th century paintings along with works by regional artists. A regular programme of events and talks are held throughout the year.
