Millennium Galleries has four different galleries which means there is something to please every visitor. The Metalwork Gallery tells the story of Sheffield´s renown as a world leader in the production of decorative metalwork and silverware from the 14th century, with over 1000 items on display including examples of mass produced cutlery for which Sheffield is famous. In the Craft and Design Gallery are superb collections of work by contemporary makers and designers along with the best national and international designers. The Special Exhibition Gallery exhibits national and international masterpieces from places such as the Tate and Victoria & Albert Museum.
