Cannon Hall Museum, first opened as a museum in 1957 and is now home to `Charge´, the Regimental Museum of the 13th/18th Royal Hussars (Queen Mary´s Own). With fine collections of furniture, glassware, colourful pottery all displayed in period settings, and also housing the William Harvey Collection of Dutch and Flemish paintings. Throughout the year are temporary exhibitions and events.

Opening Times: Apr to Oct, Sat to Wed 11:00-17:00, closed Thu & Fri. Last admission 16:15. Nov,Dec & Mar Sun only 11:00-16:00. Last admission 15:15. Closed Jan & Feb. Gardens & Park: Open all year from 08:00.
Admission: Free.
Location: Six miles from Barnsley Town Centre, off junction 38 on M1.
