Alexander Keiller Museum
Alexander Keiller Museum, founded by Alexander Keiller in the 1930s, contains the prehistoric collections from the Avebury complex of monuments, which are of similar age to Stonehenge. One of the displays is of a Neolithic child skeleton that was discovered at Windmill Hill in the 1920s. Also on display is a rare 20th century car that belonged to Alexander Keiller along with a large archive of Keiller correspondence, and a collection of archaeological publications that can be viewed by appointment. The admission charge also covers `Avebury, 6000 Years of Mystery´, an interactive exhibition.
