Museum of Kent Life


Museum of Kent Life is Kent´s award-winning open air museum, home to an outstanding collection of historical buildings, which house exhibitions on life in Kent over the last 150 years. Exhibits include a coal-fired oasthouse, a granary, a working farm and farmyard with a varied selection of rare breeds and a number of reconstructed cottages. There is also a herb garden, a market garden and hop gardens. The Museum can also be reached by river boat that sails from Maidstone central.
