Hereford Museum & Art Gallery is housed in a Victorian gothic building, the Museum has been exhibiting since 1874 with regularly changing exhibitions. The Museum displays `A Sense of Place“, a changing exhibition which gives an insight into the county of Herefordshire. The collections are relevant to life in Herefordshire and include objects on agriculture, landscape, folklore, schooldays and laundering. The Art Gallery hosts a varied programme of temporary exhibitions on art, craft, photography and other themes throughout the year.
