Beaulieu

John Montagu Building, Beaulieu, Hampshire, SO42 7ZN

Set in the heart of the New Forest, Beaulieu is an award-winning day out, with one ticket granting access to an array of attractions.
The motor vehicle collection in the National Motor Museum remains one of Beaulieu’s most famous attractions with more than 250 on show, from the earliest examples of motoring and family cars of the 30s and 40s through to classic cars of the 70s and 80s and rare motoring oddities such as a giant orange on wheels. Also on show are stars from the silver screen, including the flying Ford Anglia, used in the film Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and, possibly the most famous of all screen cars, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Another big draw is the World of Top Gear exhibition, featuring actual vehicles created by presenters for some of their most ambitious challenges on the TV show over the years.
Visitors to Palace House, historic home of the Montagu family, will be treated to a flavour of life 'below stairs' in a Victorian-styled country house, while visitors to Beaulieu Abbey can uncover the lives of the monks who once lived there.

Beaulieu also has a Historic House:

Palace House & Beaulieu Abbey (Historic House Section)

Ten Places for a Perfect Weekend in Hampshire by Natalie French

"Excite... The National Motor Museum in Beaulieu is world renowned for a very good reason, with a collection of 250 vehicles from 1895 to today; it is also home to a few corkers from the big screen. To celebrate 50 years of Bond films, this year the museum will exhibit 007’s most iconic vehicles, from cars to jets. ‘World of Top Gear’ also pulls in the crowds, as does Ron Weasley’s ‘Flying’ Ford Anglia from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets."
