Plymouth City Museum & Art Gallery

Plymouth City Museum & Art Gallery runs an exciting programme of temporary exhibitions, Tuesday Talks, concerts, family workshops and other events alongside its more permanent gallery collections. Currently on permanent display is the nationally important Cottonian Collection (which includes works by Reynolds). There is an interactive Natural History and Geology area, some stunning St.Ives School paintings and an impressive Porcelain and Silver collection. The Museum endeavours to cater for a wide variety of interests and the temporary exhibitions reflect this having ranged from Fine Art to Local History, Science to Textiles, Dinosaurs to Photography.
