Atkinson Art Gallery

Atkinson Art Gallery houses permanent collections including 19th and 20th century watercolours and oil paintings with works by LS Lowry, John Piper and Henry Moore. Each month a painting is `highlighted´ with talks about the artist and subject. The temporary exhibition programme provides the opportunity to see touring exhibitions and the work of contemporary artists. Please note that the lift to the temporary exhibition space is not currently working. It is possible to get to the first floor only via the arts centre next door.
