Towneley Hall Art Gallery & Museum

Towneley Hall was the home of the Towneley family for over 500 years until 1902. Displays include oil and watercolour paintings, studio pottery, Royal Lancastrian Pilkington Pottery, regional oak furniture. The Hall contains fine period rooms,Great Hall,Regency entertaining rooms,long gallery and victorian kitchens,Guided tours can be pre booked and groups are welcome. The historic parkland and formal gardens are a walkers delight,refreshments can be taken in the stables restaurant. The park contains a new childrens play area,pitch and putt and two golf courses.

Opening Times:	Sat to Thu, 12:00-17:00. Closed Fri (House pre-booked tours taken).
Admission:	Burnley Residents: Free. Non Residents: £4.00.
