Harris Museum & Art Gallery

The Harris Museum & Art Gallery offers the best of Preston´s heritage in this purpose built beautiful Grade I listed building. Its houses a large collection of 18th, 19th and 20th century oils, watercolours and prints and also a contemporary photography collection. Also on display is sculpture, textiles, costume, glass, ceramics and a specialist collection of perfume bottles, as well as The Story of Preston Gallery. The Museum shows an exciting programme of temporary exhibitions and has a national reputation for contemporary art shows. The programme also includes local history, fine and decorative art and contemporary craft.
