Fashion Museum


Fashion Museum: A world-class collection of contempoary and historical dress. Located in the magnificent Georgian Assembly Rooms, the Museum has been recently re-displayed. Special exhibitions during 2008 include: ´17th century gloves´, ´1977´ - a photographic display of punk and new wave bands, and ´Dresses from History´, Georgian and Victorian highlights from the collection opening 16 February 2008.

Opening Times: Open daily Jan & Feb 11:00-16:00, Mar to Oct 10:30-17:00, Nov to Dec 10:30-16:00. Last exit one hour after closing. Closed 25-26 Dec.
Admission: Adult (17+) £7.00, Child £5.00, Concession £6.00, Family (2 Adult + 4 Children) £20.00.
Location: Ten minute walk from city centre, 15 minute walk from bus and railway stations.
