Jewish Museum - Camden Town, The Museum of Jewish Life was founded in 1932, houses the world´s finest collection of Jewish ceremonial art. Awarded designated status in recognition of its outstanding national importance. The Museum features a History Gallery tracing Jewish immigration and settlement in Britain from 1066 to the 20th century. In the Judaica Gallery, designed to resemble a Star of David, is an illustration of the religious rituals handed down through the ages. Also on display is a 16th century Venetian synagogue ark, Hannukkah lamps and illuminated marriage contracts. Special exhibitions and events are held throughout the year.
