National Museum of Rural Life
At the Museum of Scottish Country Life, escape to the countryside and enjoy a great day out at this fantastic working farm and museum. In the award winning exhibition building, find out how people lived and worked in the past and how this has shaped the countryside of today. The farm is still worked using techniques and equipment from the 1950s, and whatever season there is always work being done from ploughing, sowing, haymaking and harvesting. The site also includes the original working farmhouse and an events area. Part of the National Museums of Scotland.
