Dean Gallery
The Dean Gallery opened in 1999 to house part of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art´s permanent collection and the Paolozzi Gift of sculpture and graphic art. The Gallery houses the largest body of work by Edinburgh-born sculptor Sir Eduardo Paolozzi, including the contents of his studio. Also on display is an extensive collection of Dada and Surrealist art including works by Dali, Ernst, Magritte, Man Ray and Miro. There is an archive of artists´ books, catalogues, manuscripts and an extensive library. Regular temporary exhibitions of modern and contemporary art are held here.
