Wakefield Museum


At Wakefield Museum discover the world of Charles Waterton, conservationist and creator of the first nature reserve. Follow him on his journey through the rainforest of South America. Upstairs is the `Story of Wakefield´ - from ancient man through to the miners´ strikes in the 1980s. 8000 photographs to view and print. There is also a temporary exhibition programme.
