Wilberforce House Museum was the birthplace of William Wilberforce, who was well known for his fight to abolish slavery, this 17th century merchant“s house traces the rise and fall of the slave trade. Displays tell the story of slavery and tools of the trade bringing home the inhumanity of this once thriving traffic.

Opening Times: Mon to Sat 10:00-17:00, Sun 13:30-16:30. Closed New Years Day, Good Friday & Xmas (24th-28th inclusive).
