Maritime Museum


At Maritime Museum, set in a magnifient Victorian building that was formally known as the Town Docks Museum, discover the secrets of Hull´s colourful maritime heritage spanning over 700 years. The story of Hull´s whaling and fishing trade is told using a huge collection of models and artefacts. On display is a full size whale skeleton that demonstrates the enormous size of these creatures along with a collection of Maritime paintings. There is also a busy schedule of temporary exhibitions.

Opening Times: Mon to Sat 10:00-17:00, Sun 13:30-16:30. Closed New Years Day, Good Friday & Xmas (24th-28th inclusive).
Admission: Free.
