Trowbridge Museum


Trowbridge Museum, housed in a former woollen mill, with displays telling the fascinating story of Trowbridge Town and its people. Working looms still produce cloth, which is sold within the museum. Other displays include reconstruction of Trowbridge Castle, a Victorian schoolroom, a weaver´s cottage and a draper´s shop. There are plenty of hands-on activities including a mouse-trail and history hunt.

Admission: Free.
Location: In the Shires Shopping Centre, five minutes from bus picking-up points and ten minutes from railway station.
